Responsibilities
- Define, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep/ARM, or equivalent across hybrid Azure and on-prem environments.
- Support Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and PIM implementations.
- Build and maintain infrastructure CI/CD pipelines, version-controlled deployments, and change-control processes.
- Design automation for immutable backups and disaster recovery, plus monitoring, alerting, and self-healing workflows.
- Support AI-enablement tooling including RAG pipelines, Azure AI Foundry, and Copilot or agent integrations.
- Automate identity, access, security, and recurring IT operations using PowerShell, Python, and Power Automate.
- Document automation, architecture decisions, and SOPs aligned with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls.
- Provide primarily Tier 2–3 support for Azure, infrastructure, manufacturing systems, automation, and security escalations.
- Integrate factory-floor systems and OT infrastructure, including PLCs, SCADA, industrial control systems, segmented networks, and industrial protocols.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, plant teams, vendors, software engineering, data teams, and business stakeholders on automation and AI projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 3–6 years of infrastructure engineering experience with hands-on Azure experience across compute, storage, networking, and Entra ID.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Bicep/ARM, or equivalent, using repeatable and version-controlled deployments.
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell DSC, and Power Automate.
- Strong scripting ability in PowerShell and/or Python.
- Experience operating and integrating on-premises virtualization environments such as Hyper-V or VMware with Azure.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Git-based version control.
- Understanding of Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, SSO, and Zero Trust concepts.
- Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CAB practices.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, and HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate.
- Preferred or additional experience includes Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI or Copilot integrations, RAG architectures, monitoring and observability, OT/ICS environments, manufacturing automation, containers, Kubernetes, network automation, PKI, HSM, Key Vault, and secrets management.
- Willingness to work on-site frequently at the Texas facility during commissioning and go-live activities.
