Responsibilities
- Develop techniques to connect legacy manufacturing equipment to modern infrastructure.
- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes.
- Create IoT applications for on-premises and cloud environments.
- Develop technical guidelines, standards, and templates for scalable digitalization projects.
- Apply operational technology, industrial control systems, IoT, IIoT, MES, and SCADA principles to improve architectures.
- Implement digitalization projects in collaboration with corporate and support divisions.
- Provide digitalization-related training to divisional teams.
- Develop KPIs, metrics, and monitoring tools for Industry 4.0 production environments.
- Write code that interacts with UNS services and provide detailed solution specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues during testing and production.
Requirements
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in information systems technology, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred five years of related IT work experience, including a minimum of three years of IT support experience in a just-in-time automotive manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with PLC programming in Siemens and Rockwell controllers.
- Knowledge of industrial IoT sensor connectivity, data acquisition, and data historian software.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture and source control tools.
- Familiarity with Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, or Motoman robot programming is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ignition SCADA software is a plus.
- Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
