Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Siemens Polarion solutions.
- Implement and support Polarion templates, scripts, workflows, custom fields, LiveDocs templates, and reporting dashboards.
- Develop Java, JavaScript, and Python integrations and automation solutions where applicable.
- Build interfaces between Polarion and enterprise tools, including project migrations from IBM DOORS and Windchill RV&S.
- Work with REST APIs, Web Services, SQL/OpenSQL, and PostgreSQL for integrations, data handling, and reporting.
- Manage Polarion user permissions, security access, global configurations, XML structures, and tool maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and troubleshoot issues with documented fixes.
- Contribute to ALM process and tool-use improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional experience in software development, ideally with Polarion or another ALM platform.
- Experience with enterprise software development and integration projects.
- Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of Velocity and Lucene, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and XML.
- Preferred experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript integrations, Siemens Polarion SDK, Maven, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Web Services, configuration or scripting technologies, and SVN.
- Basic understanding of ALM tools, related business processes, and configuration management systems.
- Strong teamwork, communication, analytical problem-solving, independent ownership, adaptability, and customer-service orientation.
- Fluent written and spoken English in an international environment.
