Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture of agentic commerce solution workstreams and design scalable system components and integration patterns.
- Design architectures for multi-agent systems, LLM-powered applications, RAG systems, orchestration pipelines, personalization, conversational commerce, search, and merchandising optimization.
- Architect integrations between AI systems and enterprise commerce platforms, including OMS, PIM, CRM, payments, and fulfillment systems.
- Make build-versus-buy recommendations across LLM platforms, orchestration frameworks, vector stores, and commerce platforms.
- Design embedding pipelines, vector retrieval, semantic search, and structured product-data architectures for grounded agent intelligence.
- Embed AI governance, observability, audit logging, human-in-the-loop escalation, guardrails, and performance monitoring into production architectures.
- Provide technical leadership to delivery teams, review technical decisions, and maintain architectural coherence.
- Lead technical workshops and architecture reviews with technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
- Contribute to reference architectures, technical proposals, delivery accelerators, and the organization’s agentic commerce architecture capability.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years of experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Around 7 years of professional experience in technical architecture, solution engineering, or software engineering with AI and agentic systems delivery experience.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major enterprise commerce platform, such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Commerce Tools, SAP Commerce, or a composable/MACH-aligned stack.
- Hands-on experience designing generative AI and agentic AI systems, including LLM-powered applications, RAG architectures, and at least one agentic AI framework such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
- Experience designing data and context pipelines, embedding pipelines, vector databases, and semantic search for structured commerce data.
- Familiarity with MCP, A2A, or ACP agentic commerce protocols.
- Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure for AI deployment and cloud-native delivery.
- Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, observability, tracing, auditability, and production guardrails.
- Experience leading technical design sessions and presenting architecture options to senior stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with technical proposals, reference architectures, delivery accelerators, hyperscaler agentic platforms, AgentOps or LLMOps, GEO, AI-native search, and composable commerce patterns.
