Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement cloud-based services for managing encrypted network connections.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed systems that are easy to manage and use.
- Architect and implement software security protocols and control-plane and dataplane systems for WAN connectivity.
- Integrate AWS ecosystem services and third-party solutions to create secure connectivity pathways.
- Use data-backed technical insights to influence product direction and frame solutions in terms of business impact.
- Mentor teammates and help develop their technical and operational skills.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting service availability.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define and execute connectivity services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience with TCP/IP, BGP, and IPSec networking protocols.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 6+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience using Generative AI tools and AI-assisted development environments for prototyping, development, validation, and testing.
- Preferred: current, active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
