Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement cloud-based services for managing encrypted network connections.
  • Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed systems that are easy to manage and use.
  • Architect and implement software security protocols and control-plane and dataplane systems for WAN connectivity.
  • Integrate AWS ecosystem services and third-party solutions to create secure connectivity pathways.
  • Use data-backed technical insights to influence product direction and frame solutions in terms of business impact.
  • Mentor teammates and help develop their technical and operational skills.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting service availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define and execute connectivity services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, BGP, and IPSec networking protocols.
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 6+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: experience using Generative AI tools and AI-assisted development environments for prototyping, development, validation, and testing.
  • Preferred: current, active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
