Base Salary
$113k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain scalable simulation software for autonomous construction machine development, scenario execution, visualization, and validation.
- Create scenario-based simulation tooling for scenario authoring, test automation, and validation against real-world data.
- Develop intuitive, high-performance front-end interfaces for simulation authoring using modern web frameworks and visualization libraries.
- Build interactive 3D visualizations for jobsite, machine, sensor, terrain, and simulation data.
- Apply clean architecture, reusable components, automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and performance optimization across simulation and front-end systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of Python experience.
- Experience building web-based front ends with frameworks such as Next.js or Angular and graphics libraries such as Three.js.
- Understanding of computer graphics concepts including rasterization and projection matrices, plus experience with 3D space manipulation and rendering.
- Experience with graphics or animation standard libraries, UX/UI design, open-source development, published data and APIs, and mapping technologies such as GIS, terrain mapping, or OpenLayers.
- Ability to write clear, concise documentation capturing system design.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Qt/QML, GTK, ImGui, Vulkan, OpenGL, C++, game-level development, Java or Node.js cloud backends, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Electron, Ionic, iOS, Android, and simulation environments such as NVIDIA Omniverse, CARLA, or Applied Intuition.
