Responsibilities
- Research and develop novel LLM architectures and training methods.
- Explore LLM applications in coding generation, optimization, and related areas.
- Collaborate with internal business teams to define and implement AI strategies for products.
- Develop and maintain large-scale deep learning systems incorporating LLMs and other AI techniques.
- Design and implement advanced Agentic LLM systems.
- Conduct system modeling, simulations, and prototyping to assess solution feasibility and application limitations.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Background in Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, and deep learning frameworks.
- Track record of designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models or LLMs, demonstrated through first-authored publications at leading AI/ML workshops or conferences.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, software design, debugging, performance analysis, and optimization.
- Understanding of LLM architectures and transformer-based models.
- Experience with PyTorch, JAX, ONNX, and LLM libraries such as transformers, trl, or vllm.
- Knowledge of few-shot learning, transfer learning, fine-tuning, LLM performance evaluation, reinforcement learning for LLMs, and LLM post-training methods including PPO, DPO, and GRPO.
- Experience implementing Agentic AI with tool calling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working in a dynamic, distributed team.
