Responsibilities

Own the technical direction, architecture, and operational health of a business domain or significant application area.
Lead complex initiatives from requirements and design through implementation, release, and production stabilization.
Make independent technical decisions and balance speed, quality, security, performance, and cost.
Define and improve coding, testing, code review, CI/CD, configuration management, observability, and incident response practices.
Partner with product, architecture, security, platform, and engineering teams to resolve dependencies and deliver outcomes.
Mentor engineers across teams and contribute to technical reviews, knowledge sharing, hiring, and onboarding.
Use AI-assisted development tools for design, coding, testing, documentation, debugging, and analysis while validating outputs.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Typically 5-8 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
Experience owning complex production systems and providing technical leadership beyond an individual module or feature.
Strong hands-on experience with .NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, React, TypeScript, AWS, PostgreSQL and/or DynamoDB.
Experience with cloud-native application development, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven integration patterns, Git, automated testing, code quality, and secure development practices.
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Jira.
Preferred experience with Python, Node.js, OpenAPI/Swagger, infrastructure as code, observability platforms, and defining SLAs/SLOs.
