Responsibilities
- Architect robust software solutions for complex engineering problems in collaboration with technical stewards.
- Develop and maintain machine-control applications in C++.
- Develop and maintain Angular and TypeScript web applications.
- Write automated and unit tests, debug software, and investigate customer-reported product issues.
- Lead process improvements, software quality standards, technical changes, and global cross-site initiatives.
- Review peer code, mentor engineers, and collaborate with application experts and developers across international locations.
- Lead complex projects and organizational function teams while managing technical risks, resources, and outcomes.
- Follow health and safety procedures, participate in hazard and incident reporting, and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Typically 7+ years of experience developing web applications or C++ applications in Windows or Linux environments, including technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience collaborating with technical stewards to architect solutions for complex engineering problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and technical changes across global, cross-site teams.
- Exposure to CAN, Ethernet, and other automotive communication and networking protocols is advantageous.
- Android application development experience is advantageous.
- Web browser-based UI software development experience is advantageous.
- Golang experience is beneficial.
