Responsibilities
- Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and review complex technology solutions.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
- Design resilient, highly available, and secure enterprise file transfer architectures.
- Support enterprise B2B managed file integrations, large-scale partner onboarding, and migrations.
- Make technical decisions, resolve complex issues, and influence engineering teams to deliver initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and architecture groups.
- Lead projects and teams and serve as a peer mentor.
- Drive engineering excellence through automation, standardization, continuous improvement, and operational metrics.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise managed file transfer products such as Axway Secure Transport, IBM Connect Direct, or Sterling B2B Integrator.
- 3+ years of experience with secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, AS2, and NDM.
- 5+ years of experience with encryption technologies including PGP/GPG, SSL/TLS, digital certificates, key management, and data protection practices.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud and object storage technologies such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob, and Google Cloud Storage.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- 5+ years of experience deploying and managing applications using K8/OpenShift, Docker containers, and modern cloud-native architectures.
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise B2B managed file integrations, large-scale partner onboarding, and migrations.
- Proven experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams is desired.
- Strong stakeholder management and partnership skills across business, application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and architecture teams are desired.
- Ability to drive automation, standardization, continuous improvement, and operational metrics is desired.
