Senior Software Maintenance Specialist

- Maintain, modify, and troubleshoot software, interfaces, and automations supporting the Oracle Federal Financials environment.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance issues and implement reliability and performance enhancements.
- Provide senior technical support to users and the help desk for escalated software issues.
- Support releases, configuration changes, upgrades, and patches, and validate software changes.
- Develop and test scripts and code changes according to client policies and configuration management standards.
- Document software changes, maintain operating procedures, and contribute to technical documentation.
- Coordinate with architecture, functional, help desk, and program leads on release schedules and operational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of related experience.
- Experience maintaining, modifying, and troubleshooting enterprise software and providing technical user support.
- Hands-on development and scripting skills, such as SQL and PL/SQL.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain client site access.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust suitability clearance.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
- Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Federal Financials maintenance experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with federal financial management environments and shared-service operations is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 upgrades, quarterly security patches, configuration management, and ServiceNow-managed change control is preferred.
