Base Salary
$230k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shape Codex product, infrastructure, and model behavior based on how organizations use and break AI-powered software engineering tools.
- Build team and enterprise primitives including RBAC, administrative and audit surfaces, usage and rate limits, pricing controls, managed configuration, constraints, and usage analytics.
- Design and own secure, observable full-stack systems across web, IDEs, CLI, and CI/CD.
- Integrate Codex with enterprise identity and governance systems, including SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM, and policy enforcement.
- Build performant, compliant, and trustworthy data-access patterns.
- Lead customer deployments and launches with design partners and the GTM team, using operational signals and feedback to improve scalable product and platform capabilities.
- Own systems end to end from architecture and implementation through production operations.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience turning ideas into productionized systems with attention to speed, performance, and user experience.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, along with distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with reliability, observability, and security in production systems.
- Experience with enterprise foundations including SAML/OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, audit and compliance logging, policy enforcement, and data governance controls.
- Experience building developer tools and workflows such as CLI, IDE, or SDK systems; automation systems; or integration platforms.
- Ability to work directly with users and customers or alongside GTM and solutions teams and translate diverse requirements into scalable implementations.
- Comfort working in ambiguous 0-to-1 environments and applying product thinking to technical trade-offs.
