Responsibilities
- Own motion-planning feature delivery from design through integration to solve on-vehicle problems and meet product and planning-system requirements.
- Shape long-term architecture and roadmap while ensuring timely feature delivery.
- Write clean, maintainable, high-performance software using modern C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with systems engineers and autonomy teams including trajectory generation, trajectory evaluation, world fusion, prediction, perception, localization, and mapping.
- Work with verification teams on testing and validation using unit testing, simulation, and log simulation.
- Align stakeholders through design, iteration, presentation, and communication.
Requirements
- Strong C++ and Python skills, particularly in resource-constrained environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing code for real-world robotics or semi-autonomous platforms.
- Willingness to work across the decision-making stack and on components outside prior experience.
