Base Salary
$112k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Interpret stakeholder requirements, verify assumptions, and escalate design issues.
- Participate in system design, architecture, estimation, and technical documentation.
- Develop, implement, debug, review, and maintain software code.
- Create test plans and configure testing procedures to identify and resolve defects.
- Respond to support requests during on-call rotations and deploy fixes under guidance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, automation testing, production support, and cross-functional teams.
- Improve software availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and incorporate stakeholder feedback into designs and solution fixes.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Java/J2EE and JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience with Angular, NodeJS, Spring, MySQL, and Linux is preferred.
- Experience with web-based or mobile applications, system design, debugging, code reviews, test planning, software support, and developer tools.
- Experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services for at least 1 year.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience working on client-facing project or technical teams for at least 1 year.
- Ability to collaborate across development, QA, automation testing, and production support functions.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and working with cross-functional teams.
