Responsibilities
- Design, program, integrate, and verify embedded software using C/C++.
- Work with RTOS technologies, Yocto Linux, and communication interfaces to other system components.
- Develop Windows therapy-console and desktop application software in C#/C++.
- Build graphical user interfaces using .NET and/or Qt frameworks.
- Design and implement unit tests and use test-automation tools to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and clinical teams to evolve the integrated software platform and support new clinical applications.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Several years of professional software development experience with a proven record of owning technical solutions end to end.
- Hands-on embedded software development experience in complex systems.
- Familiarity with the Windows platform, multithreaded applications, and graphical user interface development.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python for development and testing.
- Medical-device software experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with Yocto Linux and Altera/Intel Nios soft processors is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and review schematics is considered an asset.
