Responsibilities
- Design and develop an AI-powered testing framework or prototype for autonomous testing or AI-assisted test generation.
- Evaluate the quality, coverage, validation, and defect-detection capabilities of AI-generated tests against manually created tests.
- Investigate LLM challenges including hallucinations and assertion quality, as well as how browser context, DOM structures, and API specifications can improve generated tests.
- Produce recommendations for applying AI in quality assurance and software testing.
- Write an end report in English.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, or a related field.
- Must be enrolled in a university-level thesis course at a Swedish university.
- Interest in software quality, test automation, and AI-powered development tools.
- Curiosity about large language models and emerging software engineering practices.
- Willingness to experiment, build prototypes, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Playwright, web applications, or AI/ML is considered a plus.
