Responsibilities
- Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases.
- Implement backend or full-stack functionality.
- Refactor and migrate existing systems.
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
- Write technical specifications and reference implementations.
- Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality.
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
- Validate alignment between requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs.
Requirements
- Have 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python.
- Have professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Have working knowledge of at least one additional language such as Java, C#, or Go.
- Have backend or full-stack experience with production systems.
- Have experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
- Be able to navigate and debug large, multi-file codebases.
- Have experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.
- Have advanced professional written proficiency in English.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills.
