Base Salary
$92k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Author and execute manual and automated test cases to verify product requirements.
- Develop and maintain testing tools, techniques, and practices.
- Perform regression, performance, interface, and backend software testing.
- Identify, analyze, document, and report defects, test results, and software problems.
- Ensure quality checks and acceptance criteria are satisfied before code merges.
- Participate in Agile planning, analysis, design reviews, and product design reviews.
- Author testing documentation and support completion of system and software documentation CDRLs.
- Collaborate with system engineers, developers, testers, and product owners.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
- At least 8 years of experience in software testing and/or software development and 8–12 years of related experience are required.
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python or JavaScript is required.
- Experience implementing regression testing, performance or other “illity” testing, and automated test tools is required.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and effective communication with product owners and software developers are required.
- A DoD 8570-approved security certification, such as Security+ or CISSP, is required within 90 days after hire.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Git or SVN, VersionOne or Jira, Jenkins, MS Office products, Agile development, and process improvement.
