Responsibilities
- Refactor, clean up, maintain, and improve the quality of existing software codebases.
- Design and implement common libraries for use across multiple projects.
- Support development of BMS algorithms, including State of Health and other life-cycle calculations.
- Enhance the flash tool with improved reliability, configurability, standard UDS support, and OTA flashing capabilities.
- Develop a user-friendly UI tool for hardware validation and EMC teams using UDS and debug CAN interfaces.
- Build and maintain metrics dashboards with cross-project compatibility and automated alerts for anomalies.
Requirements
- Be a currently enrolled bachelor’s or master’s student in software engineering, mechatronics, physics, or a similar engineering field.
- Have strong initial experience with C/C++ and Python.
- Have a basic understanding of communication protocols such as CAN and UDS.
- Experience with UI frameworks such as Qt, Tkinter, or web-based frameworks is a plus.
- Demonstrate motivation, creativity, curiosity, ownership, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
- English is mandatory.
