Responsibilities
- Assess AI industry developments, engineering use cases, vendor offerings, and emerging capabilities to guide platform priorities and adoption.
- Evaluate, prototype, and implement secure AI platform solutions with controls, guardrails, workload isolation, secrets management, gateways, and observability.
- Develop demos, examples, and reference implementations for emerging AI platform features.
- Own and evolve Arm’s Codex, ChatGPT, OpenAI API, and AI Gateway tooling, including integrations, automation, and secure configuration.
- Track releases, assess new capabilities, support safe adoption, and provide engineering guidance, documentation, demos, and enablement sessions.
- Participate in production support and a paid on-call rota for high-impact incident response.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills and the ability to build working prototypes, integrations, and examples.
- Knowledge of the AI tooling and vendor landscape, with curiosity and discernment regarding ecosystem developments.
- Strong practical experience with Codex and OpenAI APIs.
- Understanding of AI safety, governance, privacy, security, evaluation, observability, and lifecycle concerns in an enterprise context.
- Preferred experience collaborating with vendors, research teams, open-source communities, or enterprise AI governance groups.
- Preferred familiarity with secure execution, sandboxing, workload isolation, data-loss prevention, or policy-as-code approaches.
- Preferred experience with BricksLLM, LiteLLM, custom API gateways, or equivalent gateway and routing layers.
- Preferred hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, model orchestration, agents, MCP servers, tool-calling, or AI evaluation frameworks.
