Base Salary
$130k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand AI objectives, present sustainable technical solutions, and adjust strategies based on feedback.
- Mentor internal and client engineering teams by setting technical standards, conducting code reviews, and contributing to product vision.
- Lead technical spikes and explore emerging technologies and implementation methods.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable architectures tailored to client needs.
- Design, develop, and integrate APIs, data pipelines, and end-to-end infrastructure for AI systems.
- Optimize performance and help make AI models useful, scalable, and maintainable.
- Provide API design, real-time technical support, and DevOps support across diverse projects.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, design, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 7–10 years of software engineering experience, preferably in consulting or an in-house cross-functional product team.
- Full-stack engineering experience in web or native mobile development.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, LLMs, RAG architecture, and event-driven architectures.
- Data engineering experience supporting AI implementations.
- Expertise architecting, building, maintaining, and scaling modern software across platforms.
- Experience designing APIs and writing API specifications.
- Ability to articulate technical requirements and explain advanced technical concepts to engineers and clients.
- Ability to identify security risks and communicate architectural choices persuasively.
- Excellent communication skills, advanced English proficiency, problem-solving ability, discipline, organization, and commitment to professional growth.
- Preferred experience with TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, training machine learning models, advanced prompt engineering, Go, Rust, Alexa, or Unity.
- Bonus qualifications include technical diagramming, public technical education, and publicly released personal products or apps.
Benefits
- Compensation is $130,000 - $175,000 per year.
- Occasional travel to the company headquarters in Minnesota is expected.
