Base Salary

$160k - $216k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Initiate organization policies, procedures, infrastructure, and metrics for software quality.
  • Lead process improvement activities, software quality reviews, supplier proposal reviews, lifecycle document approvals, and multi-agency audits.
  • Plan software quality test and test-readiness activities, ensure test-process integrity, and verify test results.
  • Establish risk assessment criteria, develop supplier software quality requirements, and verify supplier quality systems and programs.
  • Perform software acceptance and delivery activities for high-risk or high-value procurements.
  • Analyze non-conformance trends and lead corrective and preventive action planning, approval, reporting, and effectiveness verification.
  • Evaluate configuration management tools and processes and recommend implementation approaches.
  • Perform Earned Value Management and Cost Account Management activities.
  • Provide consultative direction to Software Quality Engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • At least 10 years of experience working on projects using various software development methodologies.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a Software Quality role.
  • At least 10 years of experience independently developing, modifying, and documenting problem-resolution or corrective and preventive actions.
  • Preferred: 5+ years conducting or leading Quality Management Systems audits.
  • Preferred: 5+ years supporting software subject to AS9115, DO-178, and/or MIL-STD-882E requirements.
  • Preferred: 5+ years using configuration management and collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, Collaborator, Bitbucket, and Beyond Compare.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of software development experience in collaborative teams using structured development processes, code reviews, and automated DevOps processes/tools.
  • Full software development lifecycle experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person.
