Base Salary
$250k - $500k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Mission Control’s technical vision, roadmap, architecture, and platform evolution.
- Build core abstractions, data models, and extension points that enable teams to create workflows safely and efficiently.
- Architect market automation systems for researching, structuring, deploying, and managing markets at scale.
- Lead architecture and design reviews and make tradeoffs across reliability, security, compliance, and delivery speed.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, data, Markets, Trust & Safety, Compliance, Operations, and Customer Experience leaders.
- Mentor engineers, establish engineering standards and culture, and contribute to hiring and team growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including significant time as a technical lead or architect on production systems.
- Deep expertise designing, building, and scaling full-stack web applications and platforms.
- Expert-level TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS skills, with extensive React and Node.js experience; Next.js is a bonus.
- Strong system design skills and experience setting technical direction for large, cross-team initiatives and platforms used by other teams.
- Ability to influence without authority, align engineering and business leaders, mentor senior engineers, and communicate technical strategy and tradeoffs clearly.
- Experience with internal platforms or tooling for compliance, AML, surveillance, risk, trading operations, regulated environments, workflow automation, deployment pipelines, fintech, crypto, exchanges, or data-heavy applications is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
