Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and suites.
- Define test strategies, plans, and cases based on project requirements.
- Conduct functional, regression, end-to-end, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with developers to improve unit and integration test coverage and integrate automation into development workflows.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, document defects, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Maintain and enhance the test automation framework for scalability and adaptability.
- Use SQL to validate data integrity and database functionality.
- Generate test reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Identify testing best practices, tools, and technologies and share knowledge with team members.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in test automation.
- Proficiency developing and executing automated tests with Python/Selenium and/or Java.
- Experience with functional, regression, end-to-end, unit, and integration testing.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and database-related testing.
- Experience debugging test failures, identifying root causes, and documenting defects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipeline test integration, Postman or REST Assured, performance testing, and cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and verbal and written communication skills.
