Responsibilities
- Develop highly responsive, reusable, and accessible UI components using React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript ES6+.
- Implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI screens based on UX designs and product specifications.
- Optimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, WebSockets, and streaming APIs.
- Build reusable UI modules and evolve shared component libraries and design systems.
- Work with QA to automate UI testing and ensure high-quality releases.
- Troubleshoot production UI issues and provide L3 support when needed.
- Plan and develop end-to-end engineering solutions with appropriate reliability, resiliency, testing, maintainability, and reusability.
- Review engineering plans and quality, promote best practices, and improve engineering capability.
- Mentor junior developers, support existing talent, and identify new talent.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand business context and deliver integrated solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React.js, Hooks, Context API, and modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, accessibility, and UI/UX principles.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and data-driven interfaces.
- Experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, or other state-management frameworks.
- Familiarity with Next.js, React Query, or similar frameworks.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and streaming APIs.
- Exposure to Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience building secure, scalable, enterprise-grade web UIs consuming backend APIs.
- Understanding of UI performance, accessibility, usability, troubleshooting, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Agile/DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jira, CI/CD, and frontend tooling.
- Experience with visualization libraries such as D3.js and Chart.js.
- Experience with backend and DevOps areas, full-stack development, and cloud exposure to GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Ability to leverage AI tools productively while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, architecture, and business-stakeholder collaboration skills.
