Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and architectural decisions for an application migration and in-housing initiative.
- Develop clean, scalable, and well-tested Python and React code for core services and customer portals.
- Maintain CI/CD, automate testing, and ensure secure, high-performing cloud deployments.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct peer code reviews, and drive continuous improvement in Agile processes.
- Shape the technical roadmap for the migrated application and core ecosystem.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Python and React, along with cloud engineering experience.
- Strong experience with GCP and/or Azure, cloud computing, APIs, and containers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong collaboration skills in Agile environments.
- Hands-on experience with code migration or application in-housing projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with .NET and strong CI/CD and DevOps practices are preferred.
- Interest in using AI tools to streamline development is preferred.
