Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks and scripts for end-to-end ETL testing.
- Analyze requirements and identify test cases and scenarios suitable for automation.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, loading, data flows, transformations, and data integrity across systems.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and perform database testing.
- Integrate and execute automation tests within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, automation strategy, and adherence to quality standards.
- Report, track, and validate defects while collaborating with product, development, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Build automation frameworks from scratch where needed and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in ETL testing or related quality engineering work.
- Strong hands-on experience with end-to-end ETL testing and Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python programming and automation testing frameworks.
- Strong SQL, database testing, and data validation experience.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline integration, and Git.
- Experience with test case design, test analysis, automation identification, and script optimization.
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor-level BE/BTech educational background.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, independence, and stakeholder interaction skills.
