Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise AI architecture roadmap for SAP BTP and adjacent platforms.
- Establish reference architectures, reusable patterns, standards, controls, and approval processes for AI-enabled business solutions.
- Lead architecture decisions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, SAP Joule, SAP Build, SAP Integration Suite, and AI services.
- Establish and operationalize enterprise AI governance, including lifecycle management, model monitoring, risk management, compliance reviews, and responsible AI practices.
- Define target-state SAP BTP architecture and standards for integration, automation, applications, work zones, data, AI, eventing, and API management.
- Define SAP and non-SAP integration standards and collaborate on trusted data foundations, master data consistency, data governance, and data quality.
- Lead AI and SAP proof-of-concepts, innovation initiatives, adoption roadmaps, maturity models, and organizational AI literacy.
- Provide technical leadership for SAP, hyperscaler, implementation, and other technology partners.
- Participate in Architecture Review Boards and AI Governance Councils and drive enterprise-wide technology standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 12 years of enterprise architecture, SAP architecture, or technology leadership experience.
- At least 7 years of experience with SAP platforms and enterprise application architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience with cloud-based integration, automation, and platform technologies.
- Proven experience designing and governing enterprise-scale technology platforms and leading architecture reviews, governance boards, and enterprise standards development.
- Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Intelligent Automation technologies.
- Preferred experience with SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Joule, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Foundation, SAP Datasphere, SAP Build, SAP Integration Suite, Microsoft Azure AI Services, and the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem.
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, NIST AI RMF, and Responsible AI principles.
- Experience establishing enterprise AI Centers of Excellence and relevant SAP BTP Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or cloud certifications.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, innovation leadership, cross-functional influence, and change leadership skills.
