Responsibilities
- Own the reliability and performance of cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration.
- Lead database reliability engineering, including performance tuning and scaling.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and safe deployments.
- Run incident response and participate in on-call rotations.
- Partner with product engineers to design scalable and resilient systems.
- Support infrastructure across multi-tenant SaaS, single-tenant SaaS, and BYOC deployment models.
Requirements
- Experience deploying and supporting on-premises or BYOC environments, including the challenges of scaling BYOC operations.
- Background at a B2B company serving enterprise customers, ideally building infrastructure or platform products.
- Strong AWS experience, particularly with ECS, Aurora, and Kinesis.
- Knowledge of VPC peering, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, security groups, DNS, and TLS termination.
- Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and handling incident response.
- GCP experience is preferred as the company expands cross-cloud.
- Python or Go familiarity is a bonus.
- Experience at an early-stage or high-growth company is a bonus.
