Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new algorithms and refine existing algorithms.
- Adapt and optimize algorithms for an ultra-low-power DSP platform.
- Write efficient and maintainable code.
- Test team deliveries using module tests, unit tests, and electrical input/output tests.
- Investigate and fix platform defects.
- Translate product requirements into development tasks and provide effort estimates.
- Write and maintain concise technical documentation.
- Collaborate with local and remote teams on hearing and intelligent audio solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering, embedded systems, computer science, physics, or a comparable technical field.
- Experience with at least several of C, assembly, C#, and Matlab.
- Experience with fixed-point and floating-point DSP programming and signal processing.
- Experience with algorithm design, implementation, or simulation.
- Experience with debugging, problem solving, Continuous Integration, and tools such as Git, TFS, and Jenkins or similar.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies; SAFe experience is a valuable addition.
- Electro-acoustic or psychoacoustic experience is advantageous.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required; Dutch is advantageous.
- Strong collaboration, communication, systematic working, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines.
