Responsibilities
- Contribute to Exa’s search architecture and backend systems.
- Build Google-level keyword search over billions of web pages.
- Develop high-performance web-crawling systems that work optimally across websites.
- Build custom vector databases capable of processing over a billion vectors in under 100 milliseconds.
Requirements
- Experience writing and maintaining high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Ability to build data-processing pipelines handling millions of documents per day.
- Comfort optimizing systems to an exceptional degree.
- Interest in finding high-quality information and understanding its importance.
- Experience with a high-performance language such as C++ or Rust is a plus.
