Responsibilities
- Configure Trial Interactive enterprise software and solutions throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Design and document customer configurations, solutions, User Requirements Specifications, and Configuration Specifications.
- Serve as the product configuration and domain expert in sales cycles and deliver product and solution demonstrations.
- Support sales with software configurations for demonstrations and responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Translate customer and prospect business requirements for Operations and Product teams.
- Develop and script product demonstrations and represent the Trial Interactive vision through webinars, seminars, conferences, and account initiatives.
- Participate in SOW reviews and evaluate new business opportunities.
- Train and mentor junior team members, including Project Managers, Configuration Specialists, Business Development staff, and Support staff.
- Create and maintain SOPs in accordance with quality assurance and departmental guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of solutions consulting, software product configuration, or similar experience.
- At least five years of experience in life sciences, eTMF, clinical operations, regulatory, quality, or content management.
- Broad knowledge of technology, tools, and techniques for data and system integration.
- Fundamental understanding of SaaS and cloud-based technology and business models.
- Experience with GxP and software validation processes and regulations.
- Experience with REST APIs, sFTP, JSON, XML, SSO using SAML 2.0, and identity providers such as Okta.
- Strong organization, time management, interpersonal communication, customer engagement, and solution-guidance abilities.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and especially Microsoft Excel.
- Previous software development experience with backend technologies such as Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or PHP is desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic shell scripting and regular-expression experience for automating manual content tasks is desirable.
- Two or more years of experience with B2B web applications, business-to-business systems, and mobile apps is a plus.
- Willingness to undertake sustained global business travel of up to 10%.
