Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated frontend tests alongside manual and exploratory testing.
- Expand end-to-end test coverage in line with product development.
- Own and refine frontend test strategies based on risk and business impact.
- Communicate test coverage, quality status, and delivery risks to support informed decisions.
- Maintain and improve the end-to-end test pipeline, including stability, speed, reliability, and support for other teams.
- Apply security, usability, accessibility, and performance best practices when testing user experiences.
- Develop a high-level technical and functional understanding of company-wide processes to test complex user flows and identify edge cases.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Designers, and other QA professionals in a cross-functional agile environment.
Requirements
- Several years of experience and a strong background in testing web applications.
- Extensive hands-on experience creating and maintaining automated frontend tests.
- Experience with E2E UI testing, accessibility testing, page performance testing, and exploratory testing.
- Proficiency with Playwright and TypeScript, or comparable hands-on experience with modern E2E frameworks such as Cypress.
- Experience maintaining and improving CI/CD test pipelines, including diagnosing and resolving flaky tests.
- Understanding of microservices environments with frequent releases and continuous delivery.
- Strong collaboration, ownership, responsibility, and communication skills.
- Excellent English communication skills; German is appreciated but not required.
