Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain solutions on Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, and Adobe RTCDP.
- Implement profile enablement, identity stitching, schema design, namespace mapping, audience segmentation, and activation capabilities.
- Build and optimize AJO journeys, event triggers, decisioning inputs, and audience-based orchestration.
- Support CJA connections, data views, derived fields, calculated metrics, reporting structures, and journey insights.
- Design and maintain scalable batch and near-real-time data pipelines for customer, behavioral, and transactional data ingestion.
- Develop XDM schemas, dataset structures, identity strategies, profile-enabled datasets, and data transformation and validation processes.
- Integrate Adobe platforms with CRM systems, data warehouses, data lakes, SDKs, marketing platforms, cloud storage, and API-based systems.
- Build and support API-based, file-based, streaming, and ETL/ELT integrations, including data mapping, contracts, and reconciliation processes.
- Support Adobe Data Collection, Tags, Web SDK, Mobile SDK, and Datastream configurations for event collection and forwarding.
- Monitor platform health, ingestion jobs, profile processing, audience evaluation, and journey execution; investigate and resolve incidents.
- Implement data governance, access control, privacy, consent, security, documentation, runbooks, and technical design standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, analysts, campaign teams, implementation partners, and support teams through design, testing, deployment, validation, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, marketing technology, customer data platforms, or integration engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with one or more Adobe platforms, including AEP, AJO, CJA, or Adobe RTCDP.
- Strong experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, API integrations, enterprise data pipelines, schema design, identity resolution, profile-enabled datasets, and customer data modeling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale customer and event datasets.
- Understanding of batch, streaming, and event-driven data architectures and experience with cloud data platforms, warehouses, or distributed data systems.
- Experience supporting Adobe RTCDP audience creation, activation, profile stitching, AJO journey orchestration, event-based journeys, and triggered communications.
- Experience with CJA reporting models, connections, data views, calculated metrics, and derived fields.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Data Model, Adobe identity namespaces, ECID, CRM ID, email, and loyalty ID.
- Experience with Adobe Data Collection, Web SDK, Mobile SDK, and Datastream configurations.
- Exposure to Azure, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar data ecosystems.
- Experience with Python or Java, privacy and consent management, data retention, compliance frameworks, DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and production support.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data and integration issues and collaborate in cross-functional delivery teams.
