Base Salary
$62k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build resilient infrastructure with redundancy and self-repair capabilities.
- Implement monitoring tools and automate operational tasks to reduce toil.
- Provide Linux system engineering and patch or harden Linux systems.
- Install applications on cloud infrastructure and support AWS environments.
- Script routine tasks and contribute to improved security posture for national security systems.
Requirements
- Experience providing Linux system engineering.
- Experience patching Linux systems or installing applications on cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS and one or more of Jenkins, Packer, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Nessus, Jira, or Confluence.
- Knowledge of system patching and hardening.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within six months of starting.
- Preferred: cybersecurity experience, RHEL administration experience, knowledge of NIST 800-53 and NIST-190, and a bachelor’s degree.
