Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, canary, API, and performance test suites.
Validate complex distributed systems, regulatory reporting, and financial workflows before external delivery.
Submit defects, investigate test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and retest fixes to prevent regressions.
Collaborate with software development engineers, developers, analysts, product managers, engineering, and QA teams.
Engineer tools to simulate market events and improve test scalability and efficiency.
Advocate for QA best practices across the software development lifecycle and continually improve test scenarios.
Respond accurately and promptly to internal and external inquiries and complete JIRA cases with increasing independence.

At least 1 year of professional software testing and functional testing experience.
Proficiency in at least one of Java, TypeScript, or VBScript for test automation scripting and framework maintenance.
Experience with at least one of Selenium, Playwright, or UFT and testing approaches or frameworks including JUnit, TestNG, POM, or Hybrid.
Experience with at least one test-management tool such as ALM, TestRail, Xray, Zephyr, or JIRA.
Knowledge of QA workflows and best practices, SQL query writing, and equity, bond, fixed-income, securities, or financial markets.
Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study.
Preferred qualifications include FinTech or BFSI experience, Python or JavaScript knowledge, API and integration testing, SQL-based test-data validation, AWS, GCP, or Azure exposure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Gradle or Maven experience.
Strong problem-solving, mathematical, communication, organizational, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills, plus Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, and Ribbon Utilization.
