Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain AEM components, templates, Sling Models, OSGi services, workflows, schedulers, servlets, content fragments, experience fragments, and authoring capabilities.
  • Create reusable and configurable solutions using AEM Core Components and design-system patterns.
  • Customize and extend AEM using Java, HTL/Sightly, and related web technologies.
  • Build and support integrations with APIs, DAM, analytics, personalization, CRM, search, identity, consent, and other enterprise services.
  • Optimize website performance and content delivery through caching, indexing, rendering, monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
  • Support estimates, sprint commitments, deployment plans, release validation, rollback readiness, and post-production verification.
  • Troubleshoot author, publish, Dispatcher, application, and integration issues in collaboration with operations, QA, and IT teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and create technical specifications, runbooks, solution diagrams, test evidence, deployment documentation, and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in agency knowledge transfer and reverse-shadow activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience as an Adobe Experience Manager Developer, with strong experience in AEM 6.x or above.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining AEM applications, components, services, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR, HTL/Sightly, Maven, and AEM component and service development.
  • Hands-on experience with AEM Core Components, editable templates, content fragments, experience fragments, and authoring frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of AEM architecture, author/publish topology, Dispatcher, caching, replication, permissions, workflows, and content packaging.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, GraphQL, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Adobe Experience Manager certification.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Preferred experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics, and enterprise DAM integrations.
  • Preferred knowledge of WCAG, secure development practices, SEO, performance optimization, high-traffic websites, ReactJS, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
