Responsibilities
- Develop and extend Linux command-line applications for Acceldata’s product offerings.
- Extend Go-based internal tools by developing plugins, including plugins for tools such as Telegraf and Filebeat.
- Build web applications that connect internal tools with customer APIs and services.
- Apply Linux and systems-application development expertise to platform tooling.
Requirements
- Have 9–12 years of total professional experience.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Go programming-language paradigms, constructs, and idioms.
- Have experience with Go frameworks and tools such as Cobra, Gin, or HashiCorp Go-Plugin.
- Understand Go-specific data structures and algorithms and RESTful web services.
- Have experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Have experience with Linux and systems application development.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Big Data Systems or Hadoop components is a bonus qualification.
