Responsibilities
- Develop security use cases and detection rules.
- Assist with the conception and design of detection strategies.
- Collaborate with the SOC on use case validation and acceptance.
- Refine and optimize existing detection rules.
- Create dashboards and reports for customers and the internal SOC.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process development.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in SIEM/SOC, IT security, or threat detection.
- Knowledge of log data analysis, attack detection, SIEM, or security monitoring.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and IOC-based detection.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting, query, or programming language such as Python, PowerShell, KQL, or Lucene.
- Experience with Elastic SIEM, Palo Alto XSIAM, or comparable systems is preferred.
- Candidates must be EU nationals due to sovereign customer environments.
- Candidates must meet at least one additional criterion: 2+ years of Palo Alto XSIAM experience, 4+ years of Elastic experience, or German language skills.
- Very good written and spoken English, analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organization, and disciplined documentation practices.
