Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated tests for WhatsUp Gold and Flowmon across relevant application layers.
- Use AI-enabled tools for test creation, test maintenance, test-data generation, exploratory testing, and defect analysis while validating generated outputs.
- Define scalable test automation strategies, frameworks, and quality gates supporting reliable delivery.
- Identify high-risk areas and coverage gaps and prioritize automation based on product and customer impact.
- Partner with software engineers to improve testability, shift quality practices earlier, and investigate complex defects.
- Improve regression-testing efficiency and reliability while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
- Establish quality metrics and communicate risks, trends, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
- Contribute to responsible adoption of AI-enabled testing tools and mentor engineers and QA colleagues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, or software development engineering in test.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing automated tests for complex software products.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, API testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language used for test automation.
- Practical experience using AI-enabled tools for software testing and understanding of the limitations and risks of AI-generated outputs.
- Experience working in Agile development teams and collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, and software-quality improvement skills.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
