Responsibilities

Develop, test, debug, and maintain core or application-specific embedded software for automotive electronic module serial-production projects.
Define and document software architecture and make technical trade-offs while supporting system requirements negotiations and approving engineering work products.
Create and maintain software schedules, effort estimates, milestones, work products, and delivery plans.
Manage day-to-day activities of the project software team and provide technical guidance and leadership.
Release software deliverables and supporting documentation, including release notes, software test reports, and first-article materials.
Manage software risks, report project status, prepare mitigation and contingency plans, and execute corrective actions.
Implement continuous improvements to products, processes, and programs.

Master’s degree in software engineering.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in serial development for automotive software.
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a software leadership role is desired.
Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems on MCU or ARM platforms.
Strong technical background and comprehensive working knowledge of embedded C/C++ development.
Comprehensive knowledge of configuration management, project planning, and tracking techniques.
Prior experience leading a global team is preferred.
Involvement in successful launches of automotive software products is preferred.
Deep and comprehensive working knowledge of structured problem solving and engineering methodologies.
