Base Salary
$176k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable backend or full-stack systems and APIs powering Plaid’s products.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver customer-focused features.
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Build automated tests, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, share best practices, and improve engineering processes.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of software engineering experience post-internship.
- Demonstrated ability to ship reliable systems or features at scale.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical, maintainable solutions.
- High ownership, collaborative working style, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to feedback and continuous improvement.
