Responsibilities
- Lead the overall engineering and development of the multiyear SOLD Simplification initiative.
- Coordinate and support requirements discovery, initiative and delivery planning, roadmap development, and stakeholder management.
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Build generative AI solutions involving LLM integration, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic AI workflows.
- Design enterprise applications using full-stack technologies, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, databases, authentication, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Implement cloud-native engineering and DevSecOps practices, including automated testing, observability, resilience, application security, and production support.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and senior leadership to define requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality and knowledge sharing, and guide less experienced specialists.
- Manage and mitigate risks and strengthen controls related to the team’s work.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack engineering expertise using Python or Java, including Python with FastAPI or Django, or Java with Spring Boot, plus modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience delivering generative AI solutions with LLM integration, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic AI workflows.
- Experience designing secure, scalable enterprise applications and working with microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, relational or NoSQL databases, authentication, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with cloud-native engineering and DevSecOps, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, resilience, application security, and production support.
- Preferred experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Spring AI, or LangChain4j.
- Preferred MLOps and LLMOps knowledge, including prompt and model versioning, automated evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, performance optimization, and cost management.
- Preferred experience integrating AI with enterprise platforms and data sources, including APIs, messaging systems, knowledge repositories, workflow tools, and internal developer platforms.
- Financial services or payments engineering experience and understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and delivery across multiple countries are valued.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction, lead complex assignments, guide team members, advise stakeholders, and apply analytical and strategic thinking.
