Base Salary
$84k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality code for medium-complexity scenarios with strong test coverage.
- Translate product requirements into robust, modular, configurable, reusable, scalable, secure, compliant, and maintainable application designs.
- Provide application system support as needed.
- Participate in application design and code reviews to ensure engineering standards and best practices.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with team members to address impediments and deliver desired results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 to 4 years of programming experience.
- Proficiency in one or more industry-standard programming languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching solutions.
- Preferred: 5 or more years of experience with Java or Python.
- Preferred: 1 or more years using AI tools in production, including building agents or MCP servers.
- Preferred: 2 or more years with frontend technologies, preferably Angular.
- Preferred: 2 or more years with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: 1 or more years with CI/CD technologies using Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with APIs using modern protocols such as REST and gRPC; exposure to Guidewire.
- Preferred knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, independent-work, collaboration, and influencing abilities.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science is preferred.
