Base Salary

$150k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build ServiceNow custom applications, workflows, and configurations across ITSM, HRSD, Knowledge, and Virtual Agent in non-production, UAT, and production environments.
  • Implement ACLs, business rules, UI policies, and data policies.
  • Build and optimize Virtual Agent flows and AI-powered experiences.
  • Write and maintain automated tests, lead code reviews, and maintain technical documentation and Knowledge Base content.
  • Serve as the senior technical partner for IT, Operations, People, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Translate business requests into technical specifications, manage the request backlog, and establish priorities and timelines.
  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with Workday, Okta, and third-party connectors.
  • Develop Flow Designer automations and identify new opportunities to eliminate manual handoffs.
  • Provide reactive support, fix bugs, perform platform upgrades, and enforce development standards and security compliance.
  • Mentor team members through code reviews and pairing sessions.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on ServiceNow expertise.
  • Ability to design and build custom applications, workflows, configurations, integrations, and automations across ServiceNow environments.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous cross-functional business requirements into scalable technical solutions independently.
  • Experience implementing ACLs, business rules, UI policies, and data policies.
  • Ability to build and optimize Virtual Agent flows and AI-powered experiences.
  • Ability to write and maintain automated tests, participate in code reviews, and produce clean, well-tested, documented work.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and Flow Designer automations.
  • Ability to communicate technical complexity clearly to less technical audiences and lead technical discussions with IT, Operations, People, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage an incoming request backlog and set expectations for priorities and timelines.
  • Ability to handle reactive support, bug fixes, platform upgrades, governance, security compliance, and technical documentation.
  • Willingness to mentor teammates through code reviews and pairing sessions.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, curiosity, empathy, humility, and a people-centric approach.
  • Responsible use of AI development tools such as Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT.
