Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure software architecture solutions.
- Translate stakeholder and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead architectural reviews and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to portfolio teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Oversee development adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Conduct software solution risk assessments and mitigation planning.
- Lead technical reviews, roadmap development, and modernization planning efforts.
- Prepare architectural documentation and presentations for project and stakeholder updates.
- Align Government IT Portfolio strategy with business goals, milestones, and future objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 14 or more years of experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 12 or more years, or a PhD or JD with 9 or more years; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Experience as a Software Architect, Enterprise Architect, Chief Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar.
- Experience supporting large-scale software, cloud, or enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, application integration, distributed systems, and microservices architectures.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior government and technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting NRO, Intelligence Community, or DoD customers.
- Experience providing SETA or technical advisory support.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with DoDAF or TOGAF enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Experience leading technical reviews, roadmap development, and modernization planning efforts.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence or Super Intelligence is a plus.
