Responsibilities
- Support end users and key users with incidents, questions, and small changes.
- Develop and debug complex ServiceNow scripts using Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Translate epics into stories and deliver work in sprints within an agile setup.
- Develop new functionality, extend existing and new modules, and migrate changes through update sets or scoped applications.
- Participate in ITSM, CSM, and WSD platform and module upgrades, including preparation, testing, clone-backs, and post-upgrade checks.
- Phase out or replace legacy custom applications when needed.
- Maintain documentation, share knowledge, and contribute to performance optimization, governance, and platform improvements.
- Continuously learn about new ServiceNow modules, features, releases, and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript within ServiceNow and the ability to independently build and understand complex scripts.
- Experience with update sets, scoped applications, and application lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, testing, and upgrade-related processes.
- Solid knowledge of ITSM; CSM and WSD experience is a strong plus.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, or micro-certifications are an asset but not required.
- Fluent communication skills in English and Dutch or French.
- Motivation to continuously grow expertise as new modules and features are activated.
