Base Salary

$90k - $158k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-touch support and extensive troubleshooting for HR support products and services across multiple domains.
  • Work on operations and maintenance coding projects primarily using Java and React.
  • Support software deployments in staging and production environments.
  • Develop tools to support operations and maintenance of HR systems.
  • Prepare system and support status reports.
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to resolve issues across support-service domains.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least four years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • At least four years of professional experience troubleshooting, debugging, and supporting technical or production systems.
  • At least one year of scripting or coding experience in a modern programming language such as Shell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex, ambiguous issues.
  • Experience participating in an on-call rotation and responding to production incidents.
  • Preferred: knowledge of distributed or enterprise applications.
  • Preferred: experience analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls.
