Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and sustain the lifecycle of embedded products.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements and define electronics-board architectures.
- Develop embedded firmware in C using bare-metal programming.
- Debug hardware and firmware using laboratory tools and a range of debugging techniques.
- Analyze functional issues and perform performance profiling in firmware and hardware test environments.
- Develop technical documentation according to existing standards.
- Build automated functional test tools.
- Support hardware definition for series production.
- Address cybersecurity requirements, resolve bugs, support continuous improvement, provide training, and collaborate with commissioning and manufacturing departments.
Requirements
- Degree or master’s degree in electronics, automation engineering, or a similar field, or proven professional experience.
- Experience writing embedded firmware in C and performing bare-metal programming.
- Experience with USB, UART, SPI, and I2C bus protocols.
- Ability to debug hardware and firmware using varied tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Good written and spoken Italian and English.
