Base Salary
$72k - $88k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and report on quality engineering activities for complex enterprise web applications and APIs.
- Build test strategies and test plans to ensure adequate coverage for deliverables.
- Develop and maintain functional test automation using the Java-based Selenium Serenity framework.
- Participate in user story refinement, QA tasks, test case development, and product demonstrations.
- Log defects and collaborate with team members to ensure their resolution.
- Participate in production release deployment verification on a regular cadence.
- Apply software development practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, design patterns, and software design principles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience with complex enterprise web applications and APIs.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience or knowledge spanning both QA Engineering and Software Development.
- Required experience with the Selenium Serenity automation framework and Java.
- Professional software development proficiency, including object-oriented design and development.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with or familiarity in BDD; Gherkin experience is a plus.
- Playwright experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or other generative AI tools is preferred for improving efficiency and quality.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Experience with Agile software development using Scrum.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
